Hispeedido HDMI MOD Kit For SEGA MD2 HDMI Kit 1080P For SEGA Mega Drive 2 For SEGA Genesis 2 Console

I installed this in a MD2. There are several problems.
1. The brightness levels are not converted correctly, the high-brightness areas are blown-out. There does not appear to be a way to adjust the ADC contrast in the HiSpeedido, and adjusting the contrast on the HDMI display does not help since the high end colors are already combined and can't be separated.
2. While audio does work on some HDMI displays and TVs I have, audio does not work at all on the two Samsung TVs I have, regardless of any sound settings I can adjust on those TVs. There does not appear to be a mitigation for this in the HiSpeedido settings.
3. Backgrounds appear to dance and shift as sprites move around, I think this is because it is attempting to deinterlace non interlaced video. There does not appear to be a mitigation for this in the HiSpeedido settings.

I do like the idea of having an HDMI port inside of a MD2, and I liked the way the form factor of the board was executed and I liked the installation process.
I would like a section on the installation guide for installing on a MD2 that already has a Triple Bypass installed, which I feel is a common combination.

I would not recommend.
