It is only a LCD kit. The console and game card are not included.

The glass screen lens is included.

This LCD kit is compatible with SEGA GG, SMS and SG-1000 games.


NOTE: There are two version LCD MOD kit in this advertising listing. 'Without HDMI version' and 'HDMI version'.

The 'without HDMI version' doesn't require trimming the shell.

The 'HDMI version' requires trimming the shell.

OSD Menu Operation:


-Press the START+1+2 buttons for 1 second to activate the OSD Menu.

-Press the '1' or '2' button to adjust the item when OSD Menu activated.

The Best Game Gear Screen

I have screen modded hundreds of Game Gears over the years using most of the various screen mods available and I have to say this is the best screen mod I have encountered for the Game Gear. Some of this screen mod’s stand out features are that it has twice the resolution of many of its competitors providing excellent visual fidelity and sharpness. Further, it provides one of the lowest power draws I have ever tested, at maximum brightness, which solves one of the Game Gears biggest flaws poor battery life. Additionally, I appreciate that this is the only screen mod that doesn’t require any shell modding to be installed which is great for when you have a super rare and valuable Game Gear you want to mod and don’t want to cut on it. Finally, I have had several of my customers point out that this is the only screen mod they have ever tried that had true frame locked video meaning no unsightly shimmering or other visual artifacts during game play. Truly an awesome screen!
